The Diploma in Dance Movement Therapy is a two-year, part-time training for people interested in working therapeutically through movement and the body.
The training combines experiential learning with theory, helping students develop practical skills in supporting wellbeing, communication, and emotional expression through movement. Across both years, students participate in seminars, supervision, and supervised practice while applying what they learn within their own communities.
The programme is available online with in-person components in Auckland. Graduates may apply for Provisional Professional Membership with the Dance Movement Therapy Association of Australasia (DTAA).
