Greetings to my colleagues,
A long time ago, at the very beginning of the AUT degree course in psychotherapy I began my personal psychotherapy journey.
Guided by wise teachers Evan Sherrard, Joan Dalloway, and many more along the way, I learned about and entered into the myriad of intricacies and facets of the dynamics of ‘healing of the soul’.
I had until then, been a professional dancer-choreographer and whilst embarking on the academic path was daunting, it inspired me to slowly incorporate my new learning with what had been my life’s work.
Now, many years later and through not insignificant traumas, tribulations and triumphs, through essays and assignments (rather) too numerous to remember, I step (dance) forth with a Masters’ Degree in Health Science (with first class honours), the salutary satisfaction of having given performance and paper presentations at 7 NZAP conferences, including the World Congress of Psychotherapy conference, Sydney, hundreds of meetings, discussions, thoughts. And a book.
Yes, I have written a book – a re-counting of my dance-and-psychotherapy-mother-and-crone pilgrimage of these last nearly 40 years.
My book launch is an offering of a dance concert and the signing of my book. The concert is a danced interpretation of the book; the book a written interpretation of the dance.

I invite you, with warmth, collegiality and anticipation: I would love you to come.
