Tūhono Mai | You’re invited to the Te Ara Oranga Taiao 2026 Regional Hui!
Start Date: 27 September 2026
End Date: 30 November 2026
Kia ora koutou,
We are excited to invite you to join us at an upcoming Te Ara Oranga Taiao Regional Hui in your area!
Te Ara Oranga Taiao (The Pathway to Wellbeing Through Nature) is a growing collective of individuals and organisations across Aotearoa New Zealand. We are united by a shared commitment to hauora (wellness) for both our communities and the natural world, grounded in the reciprocal relationship between tāngata (people) and te taiao (nature).
These hui do two things at once:
1. Your input on the proposal. Come and push on it. What people say in these rooms is what shapes the entity we register.
2. Your community connections. One of the Collective's core purposes is a platform where we draw on each other's strengths, skills, resources and knowledge to support local mahi. Come and meet the people in your region you could be working alongside.
Rangatahi especially. If we are planning a hundred years ahead, our young people need to be in this from the start. There are rangatahi-specific hui in Ōtautahi and online.
Dates and Places
Eighteen hui between late September and mid-November, from Whangārei to Invercargill, plus three online zui, including a rangatahi evening.
